God in an Apocalypse

Well here's the resultant painting from all those concept sketches. I learned alot about environment painting. I still have a long way to go though :P

God in an Apocalypse Concept art

Here's what i'm currently working on. Concepts for my next Painting: God in an Apocalypse. Part of the Apocalypse suite series i'm working on (duh) I went through quite a bit of concepts as you can see from the pic. But i pretty much settled on number 1 (it was the last one i came up with but the arrangement on the page ended up having them look like that) The final will have him looking a little different since i made some more changes to the concept but its basically as you see here. Look out for the final image soon.

Here's My Piece entitled Via Purifico. As you can see from the WIP when i started Death was originally supposed to be clothed. And i got pretty darn far with the rendering. But i realised i preferred the naked look because it gives a the image a more primal and natural feel. Another problem was that the clothes restricted her form from view and the shape wasn't favourable. It was a pain pretty much having to start over but it was worth it, and who doesn't enjoy drawing a naked female body :)
